A little more information about me....
These are my favorite two guys in the world.
My husband David and I have been married almost six years. We met teaching in Littleton (with Ms. Bishop) over 15 years ago. We have one son, Bayard "Bear", who is the most scrumptious thing ever. He turned one in May and is currently taking the world by storm, at full volume!
In our free time, we love to hike and camp and hang out with friends. We love to travel, particularly with students.
We also love to dance but don't get to do it very often.... and don't always do it very well.
When I have a free moment, I devour books- almost any genre. I also LOVE to cook and enjoy painting with acrylics.
Our family is spread out all over the US, from coast to coast, but we love to spend time with the 9 other nieces and nephews when we can.
We also like spending time with our Great Dane Miles and Boston Terrier Riley.
I've been teaching Spanish for over 15 years. I got my degree from CU in Boulder in Spanish Language & Literature. Later on I completed a masters in Global Humanities through DU.
My experience with Spanish comes from a variety of international study abroad experiences, primarily in Central and South America. Barcelona, Spain and Cusco, Peru are two of my favorite cities to visit. If you ever get the chance, I recommend spending as much time in these ideal spots as possible!
